Catching a wave on a bodyboard is much easier to get the hang of than surfing.
Make sure you are in the right place for the wave - about 5 or 10 meters deeper
than where the wave is going to break. When the wave is about to arrive, start
kicking hard so that you are going in the same direction as the wave.
If you are too deep for the wave, you may need to use the dolphin kick technique
to go fast enough.
When you feel the wave has taken you, lean to one side to begin turning down the
face.
