Surf - How to do a cutback Tutorials

A cutback is one of the most common intermediate and advanced surfing
maneuvers. It occurs when the the surfer glides out well beyond the broken wave,
before turning back in the direction of the white water.
To do a cutback, you will need to have enough speed to out run the wave. When
you have gone a considerable distance from the breaking wave, turn back towards
the white water by bending your knees, turning your shoulders in the direction you
need to turn, and putting your weight on you heels. The edge of the board should
be submerged to make the tightest turn possible.
